Seaweed body scrub

Scrubs are great for the removal of excessive amounts of dead skin that can lead to clogged pores. We use a mixture of ground seaweed (Laminaria digitata), Cornish sea salt, raw organic sugar, vitamin E and organic sweet almond oil as a binding agent. Seaweed is rich in vitamins and minerals which can penetrate and be directly absorbed by the skin along with the amino acids and proteins. Amino acids give seaweeds their natural anti-ageing properties. They can retain moisture in the skin thanks to their natural water-holding capacity.

Sea salt is a perfect exfoliator, which helps firm and tighten the skin. It increases cell turnover (shedding of dead skin cells) thanks to its high magnesium content. Almond oil in the mixture moisturises and softens skin after the abrasion. Our product doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives so please keep it in a dark and cool (room temperature) place. The ideal expiry date is 6 months after opening. Please avoid introducing water into the product as this extends the shelf life of the scrub. You can get a hand-made teak spatula from us to take a desirable amount of the scrub from the jar.
