Seaweed Salve

The base of this salve is our seaweed infusion which contains 3 different types of seaweed with their unique healing properties. This is our only non-vegan product because it contains beeswax. Beeswax that is used in the salve comes from our friend's small hive in Lulworth. They don’t use any harsh chemicals and keep the hive wild. The wax is a by-product of their honey making which they do only in small batches. Our beeswax has been certified as a safe ingredient for skincare.

Beeswax is an ancient ingredient with amazing antifungal and antibacterial properties. It also works as a humectant (attracts and binds water) so it can make skin feel soft and hydrated. Seaweed works on a very similar principle so this product can give you a double-hydration. This salve has been developed for really dry skin, seasonal chill blades or soreness on your lips and around your nose when that sensitive area is irritated. It has got amazing cooling properties thanks to peppermint oil. Pine needle essential oil soothes inflammation and enhances blood circulation which facilitates faster healing of the tissue. Seaweed salve can be applied on dry hands, elbows, heels, sore lips or irritated dry patches of skin. You will be able to feel the cooling effect almost immediately.
