The face mask contains small particles of seaweed which work as a gentle exfoliator. Using this mask helps with the removal of excessive amounts of dead skin that can lead to clogged pores. We use a mixture of finely ground seaweed (Laminaria digitata), green clay, rosemary essential oil and jojoba oil as a binding agent. Seaweed is rich in vitamins and minerals which can penetrate and be directly absorbed by the skin along with the amino acids and proteins. Amino acids give seaweed its natural anti-ageing properties. They can retain moisture in the skin thanks to their natural water-holding capacity. Green clay removes excess grease from the skin without irritation so it’s ideal for acne-prone and problematic skin. It’s also rich in nourishing minerals. The organic jojoba oil we use in the mixture moisturises and softens skin after the abrasion. This dry mixture is blended with cold-pressed organic jojoba oil which moisturises and softens skin after the abrasion, vitamin E and rosemary essential oils which is naturally antibacterial. Our product doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives so please keep it in a dark and cool (room temperature) place. The ideal expiry date is 6 months after opening. Please avoid introducing water into the product as this extends the shelf life of the scrub. You can get a hand-made teak spatula from us to take a desirable amount of the scrub from the jar.
