This Shipping Policy explains how we handle delivery, processing times, and related matters for orders placed through our website https://theseaweedpeople.co.uk (the “Site”).

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next working day.
  • If there’s a delay due to stock levels or order volume, we’ll contact you by email to keep you updated.

2. UK Shipping Options

We currently offer two tracked delivery services across the United Kingdom:

Delivery times are estimates and begin once your order has been dispatched. Please note that external factors, such as courier delays or weather conditions, may affect delivery times.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email confirmation containing:

  • Your tracking number
  • A link to track your parcel directly with the courier

Tracking information usually becomes active within 24 hours of dispatch.

4. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver to all UK mainland and Northern Ireland addresses.
If you are located in the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, or other remote areas, delivery times may take slightly longer.

5. Damaged or Lost Parcels

We take great care in packing your order, but if your parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery date at hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk.
Include your order number and photos of any damage, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

6. Incorrect Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.
We cannot be responsible for delays or lost parcels due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or damaged upon arrival.
